This is a Gothic Maiden Witch costume. There are many variations of the Witch costume; those going for a more traditional look will like this dress. This is a two-piece costume with dress and hat. The dress is full-length with a gored skirt. The neckline is low with and opening at the back that ties up. The bodice has elastic on the neckline and grommets to lace up the dress allowing the fit to be more adjustable. A brocade pattern in seen under the ribbon lace-up that flows into the long skirt. The bishop sleeves are made of fishnet and open up from the shoulder to the elastic cuffs. The front of the dress skirt has a panel of brocade, flanked by two panels of silken green fabric and the rest is black velveteen. The hat is a pointed witchs hat with a wire-lined brim and is covered in black mesh. Green mesh, feathers and a ruffle of green fabric adorns the hat. This costume is great for Halloween, wicked witch of the west, or other fairytale witches.
