This Marionette Puppet Women's Halloween Costume come with an adorable dress. Soft and purple, this adorable dress features black lace trim around the collar and neck, opening of the sleeves and at the waist. The small sleeve caps have some puff at the shoulders and come only to about past the shoulders. The 'V' neck line plunges low but isn't too revealing. Right at the centre of the 'V' on the neckline you'll find a vertical row of three, white buttons. Behind the top button, is a black bow for decoration. To the left and right of this row of buttons are two panels of grey material with black "lacing" to resemble that of a corset. On the skirt of the royal purple dress is are other grey panels featuring the same black "lace-up" design. A mini, black petticoat is also included to put under the dress to give it volume. A great design feature with the Marionette Puppet Women's Halloween Costume is the back bow. It's a grey with white polka-dots fabric and is quite large. Velcro strips on the back and top corners of the bow stick to the dress to keep it attached and in an open bow look. Printed leggings which give the appearance of wood grain come with the Marionette Puppet Women's Halloween Costume. They even have the areas where a puppet's joints would be to give their legs movement. The black choker is a black ribbon with Velcro attachments at the end. In the centre is a black bow and white button which matches the buttons down the centre of the dress. Your strings definitely need something to attach to, so this costume includes the two boards - which are a very stiff foam with faux wood detailing on the tops. These have strings that would go down to your wrists and ankles. The wooden control bars attach to a long stick that comes attached to a headband (actual colour of headband may differ than image above). This long stick that sits vertically on top of the headband is where the two control bars sit. Simply punch out the areas in the centre of each bar to slide them down onto the headband attachment.
Paint on a few wooden details on your arms and wrists for some real puppet-like "skin." This costume would make for a fun, gender-swapped Pinocchio costume as well!

All right
The bow for the head hand does not attach, I had to tape it together and it kept falling off all night. Other than that, it was a great costume and came with more pieces than other costumes at the same price. This means that it included the head piece, tights, and all the bows. Normally a costume only has the dress and everythingbelse is sold separately. So this was nice.
