This is a close resemblance to the original Supergirl costume, first featured in the Superman comic Vol.1 #123, August 1958.

The Supergirl costume is all one piece. The bodice of the dress is blue velour with gold trim on the wrists [of the long sleeves] and along the U-neckline. In the middle of the chest there is a patch of the Super “S” symbol. The skirt of the dress and the cape (which is attached to the dress, shoulder to shoulder) are metallic red stretch vinyl. To complete the costume there is a metallic gold poly-foam belt and red stretch vinyl boot covers with a gold poly-foam cuff.

Wear this Supergirl costume to a superhero party, comiccon or for Halloween.
