This is a Thing 1 & 2 deluxe costume. This is from Dr. Seuss’s book The Cat in the Hat. This is a three-piece costume with a jumpsuit, wig, and interchangeable numbers. The jumpsuit is all red and the exterior is short and has soft faux fur. It covers the arms and legs and opens up in the back. It fastens close with Velcro and ties up at the back of the collar. On the chest is the “thing” emblem with a blank spot for the number. From here you have a choice from “1”, “2”, “3”, or “4” to attach to the jumpsuit. The felt numbers have Velcro to attach to the costume. The wig is faux fur with an adjustable cap on the inside. The adjustable part is a thick elastic band that has Velcro that changes the width of the wig. This is a costume from a classic story retold for years; it been turned into a cartoon, a live-action movie, and spawned multiple books and TV features. This is isn’t just for Halloween; get the other “Things” together for a group costume. This is a great piece for Seussical the Musical as well.
